« So Dark Blue is sort of a sequel to a song that I wrote…I lived in a house in the middle of the desert and I lived there for about six months and uh in this house I never had any lights in this room except for this one fucking blue bulb that sat in this room and I lived there pretty much on and off with my girlfriend who is now my wife and who is my rock and in this room we lived with just this little blue bulb to uh light the room at night time and I wrote a song that came out on the North record with Something Corporate called “She Paints Me Blue” and on this valentines day I would like to dedicate this song to my valentine. This is called She Paints Me Blue. »
